Photo Event

This series uses photographic paper which has been exposed to a blast of pure light, a “surfeit of image”. The result is an all black monochrome image: “an image of everything possible”. These photos are then placed on the floor. With shoes caked in a mud of household chemicals (which over time eats away some of the emulsion) I reenact chosen events which I find in magazine images. The result is a record of an absent performance.
